About Copronymous
Constantine V was born in 718 AD. As one story goes, when he was christened, she defecated on the priest. The people of the Roman Empire, then ruled from Constantinople, laughed about this, and named him Constantine Copronymous, or “Constantine the Deficator”.
The meaning for me is strictly humorous. I learned the story as a history undergraduate at UT Arlington. It made me laugh, and it’s a name people don’t tend to use when it comes to internet usernames. Soo, I use it.
